Carlsen

Overview

Peter Oluff Carlsen (1841 – c1899) and Ane Jensen (1845 – 1924) were both born in Denmark, and in 1871 lived at Grenaa, Randers, Denmark with their two young children.  Deciding to emigrate to Australia, the Carlsen family made their way to Hamburg, Germany, departing 20 October 1871 on the ship Eugenie to do just that.

  • Peter Oluff Carlsen (1874 – 1948)
  • George Waldemar Carlsen (1876 – 1893)
  • Anna Margaret Carlsen (1878 – 1958)
  • Otto Albert Carlsen (1880 – 1926)
  • Henrietta Elizabeth Carlsen (1883 – 1926)
  • Arthur Carlsen (1886 – 1915)
